Q: What force parallel to the street surface is required to keep a loaded 1967 Corvette of mass 1390 from rollin
Certain streets in San Francisco make an angle of 20.0 degrees with the horizontal..What force parallel to the street surface is required to keep a loaded 1967 Corvette of mass 1390kg from rolling down such a street?
Take the free fall acceleration to be g= 9.80 m/s^2
A: F = mg sin(angle)
sure got right answer
Q: How much 1967 stingray corvette parts?
I am wanting to sell the front end of my 1967 stingray corvette. how much is a good selling price for a used 1?
A: auction it on ebay. let the marketplace set the price.
Q: I am having a problem with my 1967 Corvette Stingray’s headlights, one is always dim, any suggestions?
Ive checked the fuses and connections and the the driver’s side headlight is dim, but the passenger side is at full brightness. Just wondering if anyone knows how this could be fixed because I’m about 90% sure its not the lamps themselves, and think it might be a connection problem.
A: Well, first off, if i was 90% sure it wasn’t the light itself, You might as well buy a new one and make it 100%, before you start chasing around wiring that may or may not be the problem.
If it’s not the light… then follow the wiring back, like the other answerer said, it’s probably a bad ground.
Q: What should the oil pressure be on a 1967 corvette 427 motor?
A: 30 to 50 when over idle speed 10 to 20 at idle. the old rule of thumb is 10 lbs per 1000 rpm.
Q: is $5,000 a good price for a 1967 corvette stingray 424 that needs a paint job and some interior work?
Sorry 427*. And no I’m 16 this is my first car. Don’t be ignorant Mark.
A: Sure get it, but I am sure you got more work then just paint and interior
Q: Does a chevy 572 fit in a 1967 corvette?
Does the chevy engine, zz 572 fit in the transfer case of a 1967 corvette
A: Yeah man….All motor and no bottle…A vette does not have a transfer case…A 4 wd chevy truck does…
Q: i need to know the top speed of around a 1967-1971 corvette?
i also want to know the horsepower of a around a 1967-1971 corvette
A: Just depends on the individual car and gear ratios you would just have to take it out and see. any of them can get you well above the speed limit.
Q: 1971 Hemi Cuda versus 1967 Corvette 427?
OK, I’m 18 and my daily driver is a 1971 Hemi Cuda and there’s another kid at my school who has a 1967 Corvette with a 427. The other day he challenged me to a race and I think I can beat him because my Cuda has a 4.10 posi with wide rear tires and ported heads. I’m not sure what the Corvette has but he claims that he smoked a 428 Cobra Jet Torino the other day.
A: Well having lived through that era, I can say that would be an interesting race, although the likelihood that your story is valid is Nil…since both vehicles will fetch upwards of 60+K I don’t see kids having these toys, for financial reasons, and any parent who would allow their kid to have one of these is crazy also…
But just for the sake of argument… I believe it would come down to reaction time, accuracy and timing of shifts, and ambient temperature, and traction…this combination would reveal the winner…
Q: 1964 mustang, 1967 corvette , do they exist?
I AM LOCATING THE 1964 MUSTANG AND THE 1967 CORVETTE.
I KNOW THE MUSTANG WAS A 2 PASSANGER, STICK SHIFT, VERY STRONG ENGINE. THE 1967 CORVETTE WAS ALSO 2 PASSANGER, STICK SHIFT AND A VERY STRONG ENGINE.
DO THEY STILL EXIST?
A: What planet are you from? 1964 Mustangs (this is actually a 1965 model built and sold in late 1964) are two seaters–AND have two seats directly behind those. Only early prototypes were two seaters. 1967 Vette did and still does exist, both cars have an extensive aftermarket parts support system, are easy to work on and in typical 60’s American iron, will run WAY longer than you will. FYI — there was no 1983 Corvette.
Q: I am looking for a 1967 Corvette convertible-what is a good way for a car illitierate person to find a car?
A: Try Hemmings, Ebay, etc. If you are looking for a nicely restored car, it’s going to be a substantial investment, so if you don’t know anything about vintage Corvette’s you really should hire a professional to look at any car that you may be interested in to make sure you’re actually getting what you are paying for.
Q: horsepower rating of the 1967 Corvette?
Does anybody know where I can find out the horsepower rating of the 1967 Corvette
similar to the red one on this page –>
http://www.old-corvette.com/1967-corvette.php
A: slightly less than that of any 1967 ford falcon.
Q: how much is an original 327 out of a 1967 corvette worth?
I recently bought a 1970 C10 stepside pickup for $4000 the seller told us it was a 327 smallblock V8 now when i ran the numbers on the truck i found that it wasn’t the original motor the truck came with a 250 smallblock V6 so i ran the numbers on the motor and found that it was a original 327 out of a 1967 corvette now is the motor worth more than the truck or do i just have bragging rights. and if it is worth more than the truck should i switch it with an original 250 and sell the 327 which would possibly pay for the project and give me better gas mileage (which i wasnt looking for in the first place). also how much is an original steering wheel worth just curious because i seem to have picked that up too. but im not selling the steering wheel its pretty comfortable.
A: I’d hang on to the 327. The original engine was an inline 250, Chevy didn’t run any V6’s in 1970. Although the 250 is a reliable engine, it also runs slower’n molasses in January. Out of the car, the Corvette engine isn’t worth all that much to make taking it out of your truck worth it.
Q: Who builds 1967 chevy corvette replicas?
A: There is one company called Mongoose Motorsports making a body kit called Corvette Grand Sport.
check magazines with titles like Kit Car Illustrated or Kit Car Builder and look thru the advertisements.
Q: Classic car rental- 1967 corvette?
For a gift for my father I would like to see if I could rent a 67 corvette. Does anyone know where I could find out how to do this? I am in Long Island NY
A: Good luck! A ‘67 Vette would be sweet to be driving around. But the value of these cars I feel would keep them out of other peoples hands just to rent.
If you can prove me wrong, I would love to hear of it.
Q: Whats your favorite type of car? Mines is a 1967 Corvette.?
A: love the 67 but I have to have the first 54 vette myself.
