Q: How much would it cost to buy a 67 chevy impala in good shape.?
I live on the east cost and I’m wondering what’s the price range on a 67 impala that is in overall good shape. Also would it be hard to find one close to my location?

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Q: Is it possible to pay a car company to remake an older model car just for you? Like a 67 Chevy impala?howmuch$
I’ve wanted a 67 Chevy Impala for almost 6 years now.( Dean’s car on the CW’s Supernatural( best show ever) .) I’ve only seen mabye like 20 impalas for sale in the six years, and most people who own them wouldn’t sell them. If any one knows whether its possible to order a car from a company even if they don’t make it anymore please tell me. Or am i just stuck with buying someone else’s?
Thanks.

A: certainly everybody has their price, you just have to go high enough, otherwise you’re stuck buying someone elses. You have to ask yourself, how much would it be worth for Chevrolet to build ONE of these cars, and how much would it cost to retool, and set up all of the presses, castings, etc?

Lots of aftermarket companies do complete restorations that actually come out better and cleaner than the original, but you better have deep pockets. Even though, it will still be far cheaper than what you propose, WAY cheaper.

I’ve only seen the program you mention once, but I believe they’re driving one of the few 427 CI / 4 speed impalas that were made. You’ll pay a premium for that for starters, plus restoration.

good luck, and I’d get a second job now to pay for it.

Hemmings Motor News is probably the BEST resource for locating vintage cars. They are one of the oldest and best resources for complete cars, completely restored, to project cars in desperate need of a home, parts, restorers, etc.

The first link is for their home page

the second link is for all of the 1967 Impala’s on their list

the THIRD link is for an all original 1967 427 CI Impala with 30,000 ORIGINAL miles, BUT YOU BETTER BE SITTING DOWN when you open that one. WOW! (This is about as close to buying a 30 year old factory car as you’ll get)

Q: I am looking for a Black 67 Chevy Impala anyone know one for sale ?
I’m looking for a 1967 Chevy Impala, 4-door hardtop sedan, preferably black. I’ve checked a lot of websites and am having trouble finding one. It doesn’t need to be in fantastic condition or anything since I plan to restore it if needed. I understand they’re really hard to find, so if anyone happens to read this and is selling one, that would be great help as well. Any help I can get would be GREATLY appreciated.

A: I have a 1967 impala 4 door that I am considering selling IT IS NOT BLACK but it is all original running and all the #’s match if interested email me back have pics

Q: Can anyone tell me where I can find a 67 Chevy Impala?
I’m looking for a 1967 Chevy Impala 4door, hardtop. Perferably black in color.

A: http://cgi.ebay.com/1967-CHEVY-IMPALA-SS-396-BLACK-1-18-ERTL-AUTHENTICS_W0QQitemZ150182435035QQihZ005QQcategoryZ47188QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Oh Shoot!!!! You wanted that in a 4-Door didn’t you ?

E-Bay doesn’t show any 4-doors!!!! Sorry.

Q: opening trunk on 67 chevy impala?
i got a 67 impala and no trunk key, i got the back seats out and i can see into trunk but cant see a way to take out the lock. is there a emergancy release or something? or how do i get it open?

A: the option is not to remove the lock, but to pull the 3 bolts for the latch located on the body of the car not on the trunk lid.. lift the trunk open . while the trunk is open you will notice that there is a large c-clip that holds the lock in place. pull that and the key lock will slide out. the rest is to have a key made and put it all back together. good luck

Q: Ok so I just bought a 67 Chevy Impala 4 door Sedan, and I was wondering can it be turned into a hardtop?
Hmm ok thanks. I guess my next question would be what if I can find a frame of a 67 hardtop, can everything from the sedan switch over?
minus the doors and door windows
ok so “Stupid”…do you get off on being a jerk, or is that just a natural personality perk of yours? ….and on to the next statement. Yeah I think I’m just gonna fix this one up enough to run and then sell it off.

A: Sedan and hardtop roofs aren’t always the same shape. You might put some hardtop doors on and the windows won’t fit the opening correctly. Don’t worry, a ‘67 sedan is cool, too.

Are you interested in a 2-door hardtop? I know where there’s one for sale near me. Might even be an SS.

Q: What type of transmission goes in a 66 or 67 Chevy Impala?
the one with a 350 v8 Engine

A: could be powerglide, could also be th350 or th400,

Q: How is the gas mileage on a 67 chevy impala?
how many miles per gallon? highway? city?

A: Well, not great, about 17 avg according to my spec book (I work at a dealer) but honestly thats not a car you buy for gas mileage.

Q: Where can I find a 67 chevy impala for sale in NC?
–1967
–Chevy Impala
–black
–4 door
–hard top

A: Old Car Trader Online.

Q: Whats better a 67 chevy impala or the 73 dodge charger?
i cant decided both are brilliant cars and i want to have one of them when im older

A: the charger is always going to be worth more unless the impala is an ss model, the charger is a huge car and doesn’t get good fuel mileage,i wouldn’t want to have other people make the choice of buying a car for me,if i was you id look at both cars and see which one i liked the best, the 73 charger wasn’t considered to be very competitive in the muscle car world, its not that much of a wanted car, good luck.

Q: Question about a ‘67 Chevy Impala?
I’m wondering what the price range would be if I bought a ‘67 Chevy Impala in reasonably good condition.
Also, what kind of gas mileage could I expect from it?
Thanks ahead of time.

A: The price range will be between $2500 for a 327 V8 that’s in need of a lot of repairs, to $150,000 for a rotisserie restored 427 SS 4 speed convertible.

You can expect 10-15 mpg for the 327. And 7-12 mpg for the 427.

Q: Does anyone know where I could buy a ‘67 Chevy Impala (besides eBay)?
I want a car for college and this is my dream car, and I would probably be buying it next summer/fall…
I cannot for the life of me find this Travis Lavengood person.

A: www.hemmings.com hemmings motor news is a online magazine with world wide roots in the car world, if I were looking for a classic, this is where I would go first, there is a free ad section from last month, or you can pay a fee for access to the online version, or pay a few more dollars and get the hard copy. you can also go look on www.autotrader classic.com there are usually some old classics there as well best of luck, be patient and save your money, some of the 2 doors can be spendy, one way to have your classic and not spend too much is pick up a four door, these are usually much less money.

Q: black ‘67 Chevy Impala ????
My bf is getting one for about 200 i believe and is totally restoring it. The only modernization will be a cd player. Black exterior, blue interior, v8 engine….it will be loud lol ( but thats my bf and his friend for ya).

How much do you think it will be worth afterwards and how much would they have to put into it ?

I have been wanting a 67 chevy impala ever sine i saw dean’s on supernatural..i love it so much that my bf is getting me one : )

A: Restoring price depends on how bad the car is and how much work you can do with out paying someone else to do it, if you have the original engine, transmission ect and if you can get documentation and depending on the options the car, it could be worth up to $25 thousand.

Q: does anyone think the ‘67 Chevy impala is a really good looking car?
actually ‘Vipassana’ we have to right a review in art about cars and why they are our favourite looking cars i didn’t know if i was ’sad’ for thinking this

A: Yeah I really like! :) black looks the best though

Q: Does anyone know where i can buy a 67 Chevy Impala In Arizona? Perferred Color Black?

A: watch craigslist.com they usually have alot of older cars on there. or you can watch ebay too!
