Q: Body difference between 1969 Dodge Charger and 1969 Super Bee?
Were there any body differences between the 1969 Charger and the 1969 Super Bee? They look a lot alike!

A: the super bee was built off a dodge coronet body style,it had no relation to the charger body’s at all,the Plymouth road runners and gtx,s and satellites were the same body style, the road runner and the the gtx,s they have slightly different design,s as you can tell from looking at this picture, they were two totally different vehicles, engines and transmissions were the same but that’s about it,http://www.hubcapcafe.com/ocs/pages01/dodg6904.htm good luck on it.

Q: where can i find a 1969 dodge charger in southern california?
I want to find a 1969 Dodge charger preferably already made to look like the general lee for 5,000 or less.

A: craigslist and ebay try driving down in old country roads , but good luck finding one lol its hard plus they cost more than that

Q: Was the vinyl top on the 1969 dodge charger an option?
im planing on getting a 1969 charger project car with in a year or so. and i am wondering if the vinyl top was an option and if the 1969 charger was available in a hard top instead of the vinyl. thanks in advance

A: The vinyl top was an option on the ‘69 Charger, have owned two with vinyl tops and currently am caretaker for my wife’s numbers matching big block ‘70 Charger 500 . . . . with a vinyl top.

Q: What was the difference between the 1969 dodge charger R/T and the white hat 1969 charger’s?
BTW what were the options and color choices?

A: There was no “white hat” charger. The white hat deal was a sales (advertising gimmick), as in “good guys wear white hats”. You can Google 1969 dodge charger options to get the rest of the info you want.

Q: anyone selling a working 1969 dodge charger that a teenager can afford?
anyone selling a working 1969 dodge charger that a teenager can afford?

A: Probably not.

Q: I’m looking for a help on finding a cheap 1969 charger?
I’ve been looking for a classic muscle car for a long time… Now I have always loved the 1969 charger from the dukes of hazzard. I don’t have alot of money. About 4000 to spend.. I was wondering if anyone knows or has a decent 1969 dodge charger for sale.. I don’t car if it’s a project.. Just not a rust bucket.. Thank you

A: You might find a rust-free Charger for that price if you’re very lucky, but don’t count on it having an engine or transmission. But then, it’s always fun hunting down an engine and swapping it in and all that good stuff.

Q: Since Chrysler is showing footage of the 1969 Dodge Daytona Charger?
becoming the first car in nascar to do a 200 mph plus lap.How many would think it cool if they scrapped the 4 door version they have now and built a real charger with a v8 that looked similiar to the Daytona of 1969 with 2 doors ?
They could lower the fin in the back or make it similiar to nascars car of tommorows look.I think a cross between the 1969 and the 80’s Daytona could be pretty cool and the aerodynamics would be awesum.
Also by mentioning the 80’s Daytona I don’t mean to imply a 4 cylinder.V8’s only with a 5.7 base for an affordable entry level then the sky is the limit on horsepower a 600 hp viper engine offer for the top model would be cool with maybe an even more hp hennessay option available from dealers.
Ps maybe you are an import fan? What you don’t understand is that car manufacturing goes in cycles certain car companies are on top today and then struggling tommorow.Japanese quality is at an all time low also you might forget prior to the war on terror the American companies were making a very strong comeback. With the war came extremely high fuel prices giving the japanese an advantage because of their rumored fuel efficiency advantage. If you go to http://www.mycarstats.com/auto_recalls/auto_recalls.asp you will find honda has the worst recall record of any active manufacturer or division. The accord has had 184 recalls since 1990 and the civic has had 160 they are the 2 worst cars.It would seem their fuel efficiency may have more to do with fuel saved from being towed or time not driven from having recall work done.Chrysler by itself builds more different models than toyota, honda, and nissan combined.I’d like to see any one of the japanese companys try to accomplish that and do well
Howlin wolf the footage is from march 24,1970 at talladega and the driver is Buddy Baker on that day he became the first nascar driver to break 200 mph.Chewy I like your answers but please quit downing the coronet 2 of my very favorite cars I have owned were both coronets one a 66 2 door and the other a 69 2 door. The charger came from the coronet and the coronet has been around a long time. One could even make the argument the coronet is the first muscle car using the same type thinking meat heads use to call the gto the first one.Checkout the 1955 d500 coronet also look at the coronet rt’s and the superbee’s and even the plain old coronet 440’s.You have stated an affection for the GTX that is nothing more than a plymouth version of the coronet just like the belvedere is keep up the good answers but leave my coronet a lone.

A: that would be sweet. sign me up!!!

Q: Can you turn a 1969 dodge charger into a hydrogen / gasoline hybrid ?
Can you turn a 1969 dodge charger into a hydrogen / gasoline hybrid car?
i would wanna turn a 1969 dodge charger into a hydrogen / gasoline hybrid vehicle to lower the cost of gasoline and make me more independent :) and how much do you think it would cost?? also would the engine still sound and hum the same way it normally does or not??

A: You are lucky enough to have a ‘69 charger and you want to jack it up. If you are concerned about milage do the following:
1. sell the charger to someone who knows what to do with it.
2. take the proceeds and go get a Honda Fit.
3. don’t ever buy another muscle car again

Q: How can you rent a 1969 Dodge Charger for a day?
My dad used to drive a red dodge charger when he was young. He always admires these cars anytime that he sees them. I was wondering if there is a way to rent one to allow him to experience some nostalga. He lives in West Virginia.

A: NO! Why because these cars can’t be replaced. But you can buy one. A nice 69 is only asbout 80 grand.

Q: Which is better a 1969 Dodge Charger or 1969 Mustang?
Judgeing on horsepower, engine and looks which would you rather have? Don’t take into account that the Charger cost alot more these days.

A: I think by far it is the Charger, just look at the body lines the best looking muscle car of the late 60/s. The engines made lots of power and are just designed better than the Fords. The Charger has i bet more people look at it at a stoplight than a Mustang will ever have.

Q: Is there any other model of Dodge Charger Daytona besides 1969?
All the time when I see a Charger Daytona, it is a 1969 model with only 500 made in total with 70 of them having a HEMI engine. Now I want to know if there is any other model year for this rare car.

A: 1969 Was the only year for the Dodge Charger Daytona that you would consider a muscle car. There was a Concept for a 70 Dodge Daytona but since Nascar killed the Aero car and the Hemi they stopped making them. They did make a 1983 Dodge Charger Daytona Shelby but I wouldnt consider that anything near to what the 69 was.

Q: how much do the bumpers on a 1969 dodge charger cost?
how much are the Daytona bumpers on the 69 Daytona charger cost? not the originals but replicas.

A: Rear bumper, not so bad. Nose piece on front? You can’t afford it.

Q: Where can I buy a 1969 Dodge Charger?
I am in the UK and would like to buy a classic 1960 Dodge Charger, I would prefer one to restore but I don’t mind. I was just wondering if there was a classic american car importers in the UK, near London or Kent preferably.

A: here’s a good web site to find those on,and it can be shipped to you,but this place will have a few of them they actually have about any old classic car you could want to find, good luck with it,http://classiccar.com/

Q: What is the length of a 1969 dodge charger?
I want to rent a trailer to transport the car home and need to know how long the trailer needs to be.
I don’t have the car in my possession yet so I can’t go out and measure it, otherwise I would. It is going to be transferred from Minnesota to here in Michigan and I wanted to make sure I had a big enough trailer bed for it.

A: 208 inches

Q: Where can I get a 1969 dodge charger to fix up?
It dosnt have run or anything. I just want to find one for around 200 to 500 $ that I can fix up.

A: Right here, but this one is a little more expensive, for $200-$500 you would just be looking at a pile of rust.
