Q: toyota supra?
i found a toyota supra for 6,000 non turbo. lt looks in good condition and it has 70,000 miles on it does 6,000 dollars seem to good to be true?

A: Sounds like a decent deal to me, have somebody look it over though.

Q: Toyota Supra???
i’ve always wondered i know alot about cars. but the toyota supra came with a 2JZ engine wht cylinder is tht? i figured 4 CYL because it came with the twin turbo option. and twins would not fit V6. please help thank you in advance i just need to know if it a 4 cylinder or 6

A: All Supras have had a 6 cylinder inline.

Q: Does a 1985 toyota supra look anything like a 1985 toyota celica?
I have a 1985 toyota supra and some people say it is a 1985 toyota celica, am i right or are they.

A: it is probably the celica supra you have. 1983 a celica version with bigger engine was introduced called celica supra . in 1986 4th gen celica became fwd. and now with its own individuality rwd supra is born. get some pictures on the net & compare.enjoy your clsssic icon.

Q: How much would a brand new Toyota Supra cost?
My brother and I are having an argument about which costs more an Audi R8 or a Toyota Supra. If you could give me some comparisons about these two cars that’d be great.

A: There is suposed to be a new supra in 2010, which is estimated to cost around 70 grand. As for a brand new R8, that is around over 100 grand.

Q: Why are Nissan Skylines and Toyota Supra illegal in some states?
Why are Nissan Skylines and Toyota Supra illegal in some states? Someone told me it was because the could out speed cop cars. Is that true? And is a Toyota supra a really good racing car because I am feeling like buying one. Could they beat cars like lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Vipers?

A: There is no doubt the Skyline and Supra’s are great cars and well proven in motor sports, there engines are super tunable and have been popular for many years the Skyline since 1957.

The more recent Rb and 2jz engines are a tuners fav due to being detuned stock and actual stockrunning is close to 600bhp and well over 1000bhp with further mods, but what makes them popular is the easy way to get this power from these engines and these are bullet proof engines.

The Supra is a great car and can easy beat the Ferrari models etc as said the tt 2jz version can be seen running over 1000bhp and the same witht he RB26 skyline engines also, and the rb25 engine can be seen at 1000bhp.

There are legal Supra versions in the US ,also there are Skylines which where sold throught the late Motorex and now sneak in through loopholes.

Q: How hard is it to do a transmission swap on a 94-98 Toyota Supra?
I recently bought a Automatic 95 Toyota Supra. All the Stick Shift ones were really expensive and I figured I can by a manual transmission and swap it out. However I don’t know if it’s going to be that easy. My friend did a tranny swap on his 87 Toyota cressida and said it wasn’t too hard. All you needed was another different motor mount for the front and the clutch and cables. How much will it cost?

A: List of parts:transmission, flywheel, clutch and brake pedal assembly, ecu, driveshaft, and don’t forget all the bolts….any car built after 95 may have an irreversible check engine light after a swap like this.

Q: How much would i expect to pay for a 96-03 toyota supra?
How much should i pay for a 1996 – 2003 toyota supra?
Whats the lowest price, and what does the price range from?

A: 93 to the time they stopped making them which I think was 98. You’ll be looking anywhere from 15,000 and up. I shopped around for one myself and I just gave up. Way to pricey.

Q: Is a Toyota Supra Mk3 a good winter car and daily driver?
I would like to purchase a Toyota Supra Mk3 (1986-1992) and was wondering how it performs in the winter as it is RWD. I am also wondering if it would make a good daily driver.
Also this will be my first car.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: What would make a 1983 Toyota Celica Supra keep blowing the EFI fuse every time I turn the key to ACC position?
1983 Toyota Supra keeps blowing the EFI fuse when I turn the key to Acc not even trying to start it?

A: A power wire is shorted out. When you turn on the switch, it sends power to the wire, which is grounding out, and popping the fuse. My guess would be a wire got hot and melted the insulation off and it’s shorting out on you. Good Luck.

Q: Whats the difference between a Toyota supra non turbo and a turbo?
Do the the turbos go faster and are they better to get if you are gonna race with it? What would the price be around on a 1999 toyota supra turbo?
and are under car lights illegal in NY?

A: Yes, the Turbos make more Horsepower.

The main difference between the two is that one has a Turob and one does not.

As someone else noted you can’t get a 1999 Supra.

The last model years they imported to the US were 93-98. These are the most highly desired Supras. They have made well over a 1,000 HP at the rear wheels on stock internals.

These guys are beasts and can handle anything you can throw at them. Plus they have a HUGE aftermarket following.

If you do find one, prepare to pay out the nose. I have seen Stockers go for over 40K. Modified ones have seen prices over 100K.

But you might find them anywhere 20K to 50K.

Yes undercar Lights are illegal.

Q: What Engines will fit in a 1984 Toyota Supra that came with a 5M-GE engine?
I have a 1984 Toyota Supra MKII, and i want to do an engine swap with a newer stronger car so i can find aftermarket parts for it easier, right now it has the stock 5M-GE engine in it…. I was really wondering if an MKIII or MKIV engine will fit… Im open to suggestions, any engine that will fit is a good suggestion to me right now, please help, thanks.

A: simple engine swap.s are 6mge or 7mge or 7mgte which is 3 ltr turbo all will fit in without any mod’s the computer will also self learn all the efi system also the later 1jzge will fit or 2jzge or the big mother 2jzgte but not without a lot of work fitting and you will require a later computer all cost $ in time and money it just comes back to how much money you are willing to spend

Q: where can i find a headlight conversion kit for my ‘86 toyota supra?
I have a 1986 toyota supra 3.0, it has the stock flip up headlights, i am looking to convert the flip up into the stationary headlights, i have seen them before on other cars but cant locate where to buy or even view for that matter, if anyone could locate a site online with pics and prices that would be awesome, thanks in advance.

A: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/supras/
Yahoo groups are a great place to look for info on specific topics of any kind.
Try there or ebay.

I loved the pop up lights on my Supra. I miss it like crazy.

Good luck ;0)

Q: What should I do with my 1984 Toyota Supra?
Okay so my dad gave me his 1984 Toyota Supra and I was wondering if it is worth fixing up or should i sell it? The engine is fine, it can run once it gets a new battery. The seats need replacing and it could use some body work but its in pretty good shape. Would it be a better idea to just get rid of it and invest in another car or stick with it?

A: You do realize that this car is considered a full first class antique, in which you may apply for antique plates to verify it. You could shine it up clean and maintain it, make it look perfect again, and drive to cars shows both now and in the future. 25 years old make any car a classic antique. And you Supra just may be a car ot keep and covet for life. I can bet you it turns head now. By the time it reached 30 or more years old you will have a gem that peoples tongue may hang out for. think about it. You are young, and the car is ALREADY a classic. By the time YOU are an antique, you will be driving vintage Toyota’s legendary Supra which by then may be 60 years old and it will leave people aghast. Because the new cars from here on in..will NEVER be the same quality. Keep it. Refurbish it. Relish it. Soon there will be no other cars like it in the world. That’s a fact.

Q: How do I change the timing belt on my twin turbo 98 toyota supra?
I would like to find a diagram or a toyota pdf service manual for servicing my 1998 vvti toyota supra rz twin tubo manual transmission car. Would anyone know where I could find one on the net, for free if possible I am just after buying the car, my wallet is empty!lol

A: the first thing i do when i buy a used car is go to auto zone and buy a manual for the car $20,00 it will give all the information you need to take good care of the car and will pay for itself the first time you use it!

Q: What type of engine can I swap into a Toyota Supra?
I’m thinking about buying a Toyota Supra, what kind of engine swap can I perform?

A: http://www.topsecretjpn.com/gallery.shtml

a couple of famous ones on the link.

lol another thumbs down ,which is strange after only posting a link to a world famous company and famous cars,so info is hardly wrong.

Q: Can I import a 93-98 Supra from Japan to the US?
I was thinking about importing a skyline or supra from Japan. I know the Skyline would have to be between 96-98 to qualify, but what about a Supra? I’ve heard that since it was sold in the US, it cannot be imported and registered here, is that true? If yes, then how do people get away with importing cars from Germany (BMW)?

A: you should be able to as with any skyline as long as it meets the law in your state, and it seems that some are more keen then others.

http://jdmstock.com/

http://www.skylineowners.com/
plenty of US owners to ask and search free forum for answers)

http://www.motorex.net/

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=105699

Q: How long do 93-98 supra engines run?
I came across some guy who was desperate to sell his 1995 twin turbo supra because he needed money fast for surgery for his wife.
So I bought the car for only $4000 US, car has 115k miles on it. Runs perfect and everything seems to working great.

Just wondering what is the life range on these supra’s? I’m planning to keep this car for a very long time so just wondering.

Also what would it cost to replace if i needed to.

A: WOW! That’s an awesome deal!!

You’re looking at 200K, 300K easy IF you take care of it!

A it’s a very popular engine. A complete replacement from a mechanic should cost around 10K. The cost of the engine will be around 6 or 7, then there’s labor and misc parts you always end up replacing when doing that kind of thing lol.

Have fun with your new ride!

Q: How much does it cost to fix a spun bearing in a 93 to 98 supra?

A: spun bearings means the bottom end must come apart. even if its do-able while the engine is still in the car, its probably going to be a 5-8 hour job. if engine comes out more like 10-12 hours. may be time to weigh replacement engine vs fixing yours.
sidebar-my dealership is at $75/hr.

Q: How do i fix an 98 supra?
One of the cars i thought about was the 1998 supra.

but they dont sell those anymores, so i wanted to buy a used one and add tune body kit etc

is it possible to change the inside too so its brand new?

A: ya dude u can easily change out the interior, go on ebay 2 find seats/carpet/dask/etc etc… as far as tuning, there are many sites, ive got a 97 supra tt and now ive got an hks single t66 turbo on it/rc injectors/hks 286 cams/aem cam gears/aem plug n play/etc etc im makin 526hp @23.5psi
heres some sites that will help u

Q: Why does the 94-98 Supra still cost so much?
I have looked on car listings online and the cheapest is still more than 10 grand. I want a toyota and a fast one. The supra is the only car that fits my criteria except for the price. Why is the supra’s deprieciation rate lower than porsches, bmw’s and mercedes? I want an inexpensive supra. At over 10 grand for an over ten year car seems like a rip off to me. Does anyone buy used supras? I love supras but not their price.

A: imagine if you had a supra. would you want to give it away for lesser than 10k? NO? then why would they do that? good luck finding one.

Q: what performance upgrades would you recommend on a 98 MKIV supra?
i don’t know much about the car but i have wanted one since fast and furious, i now have one and want to do some performance upgrades, what would you recommend? also could you help me to learn about the supra?

A: Sell it and buy something worth working on that isn’t a follower car. If you really bought a car because of a movie, you should probably re-evaluate your idea of hobbies.

Q: I have a ‘98 Supra Turbo, are there any front bumpers other than the stock one that would bolt in?
There is always the stock one, but I’m looking to replace with one that I could do myself. I’m not a fan of bondo so I’m hoping to find a prefitted one.

A: Do you really want to ruin your car that way? Keep it original.

Q: How much would a very low mileage 98 toyota supra twin turbo engine cost and where could i find it?

A: I have no idea where you could find it, but I bet it would cost $10,000, if not $15,000.

Q: 93-98 Supra Turbo question about emission testing?
I found a 1997 Toyota Supra Turbo with 50000 miles on it for $35000. The car is stock and I know that in the year 1996 the Supra Turbo 6sp stopped because of emission issues. So i was wondering if a stock Supra Turbo with 50000 miles will give me trouble when I take the emission test. Also if I find a Supra with mods already on it what are the chances of it failing the emission test?

A: A lot of your answer depends on where you are as far as the current mods are concerned. As far as a stock car passing, they didn’t have problems with the ones they produced passing, they just didn’t want to compromise performance, etc in order to meet the future standards. The car will only have to meet the standards for its own production year. In my state, for 93-95 that means it only has to appear stock and appear to work. At least, the emission controls have to appear stock…you can modify whatever you want as long as they still appear to work. From 96 up it still has to appear stock but also has to pass an OBDII inspection, so that could be more difficult. So, to sum up, depends on the year and your area.
Hope this helps. God Bless!

Q: How can I swap a 98 supra twin turbo engine into a 02 celica gts?

A: no, not as a direct bolt in. The Supra is a rear wheel drive car and the gts is a front wheel drive car. You might be able to custom fit it by doing a full tube chassis and using the entire drivetrain out of the supra and then adding the body to the chassis but thats a lot of work. hope this answered your question.

Q: What is better, a 94-98 Toyota supra non-turbo or a 90-93 twin turbo Nissan 300zx?
I am trying to decide on my next car purchase. All the cars I am looking at have between 60k-120k miles on them. I am trying to figure out which car would be more dependable. I’m not really worried about resale value. I am wondering more about durablity of parts, ride smoothness, which of the two are cheaper to repair, and availability of upgrades. I can only afford the Supras that have a single turbo or no-turbo but I have found a few 300zx’s in my price range with twin-turbos. So is there a site out there that I can compare these two cars? Is there a better car of this size or are these pretty much the best? Any kind of info would be appreciated.

A: NA Supra.

The Z32 TT is known for being heavy on the maintenance and not cheap to keep. jAt the very least the engine bays are nightmarishly crowded.

A Supra might be expensive to fix if it breaks, and that generation might be expensive to buy, but it’s still a Toyota, and if it’s NA and not that generation that had issues with the head bolts not being adequately torqued, it’s known for having Toyota reliability.

Regardless, if you’re worried about reliability, you should be looking at either car to make sure it hasn’t been heavily modified.

And if you’re REALLY worried about reliability, get an MR2 or Miata.

Q: I am lookinf for a toyota supra for at least 10k year 93-98 twin turbo?
looking for a 93 -98 supra twin turbo for 10 k dont care about the miles i use to find them alot but i can’t find the website. plez help thanx

A: http://www.supraworld.com/

Q: Can a childs car seat fit in of a 93-98 toyota supra?
I have always wanted to get ahold of a supra and now that i’m getting the chance to buy one i’d like to know if I can put a car seat in the backseat for my 1 y.o kiddo. Thanks in advance

A: Pretty small car to be driving a little one in. And you have no air bags in the back right? That will be a pretty tight squeeze.
I can’t remember, is the baby facing forward yet?
I wonder if it is safer or worse to push the empty passenger all the way forward or not.
Ya know…I would go into your local CHP office and ask them these questions.
They showed my sister too how to correctly install her seat. Apparently, it is almost like a bra, 70% of us think we have the thing on right and the right size and we don’t.
On a more serious note. As a new Mom, I gave up both my first true love (then, a Camaro, and my classic 240Z) when I realized they were just too small for the baby. I perceived small as to be not as safe as a large vehicle for him. It was not a tough decision. I bought a Suburban (not new) we weren’t rich then, and we bought an extra cab Pick Up.
Thank God we were never in an accident, but had we been I am glad we weren’t in that 240Z, which is about the size of the Supra. The Supra is a great car!!! Fast too. I drove my mother-in-laws a lot. Funny – I would speed a lot in it too.
Please rethink it. There will be other Supras down the road.
But you will probably be making more money and buy something even better by then. Take care of baby. Go ask the CHP what they think. Maybe I am all wrong and they will tell you what you want to hear. Take care.

Q: how much does it cost to restraighten a chasis to an ‘89 supra turbo?
im thinking of buying one from a good friend of mine whos a mechanic but he cant tell me a good estimate on a chassis straightening cause he has never done one. he says its a slight bend. it’s a stock car

A: its not worth it. my friend got his straighten and he took it to the strip and it bent back again after some hard launches. for the price you can find these cars, save the money you would spend and find a good one. if mine got bent, i would scrap it and get a new shell.

Q: I need the color code from the car to the spekers on an 89 Toyota Supra.?
I want to but a after market JVC cd player in my 1989 Toyota Supra. But the person stripped the wires on car. An I have know idea what wire goes to what speaker.

Q: Where is the computer located in a 89 Toyota Supra MKIII?
I have a bad computer and i want to put a new one in but i cant find it.

A: The Engine Control Computer is located:
Front seating area, passenger side, behind dash, above glove compartment cavity, mounted on dash upper panel

Q: where is the blow off valve on an 89 toyota supra turbo?
where is the blow off valve on an 89 toyota supra turbo?

A: There isn’t a blow off valve. If it has anything, it might have a bypass valve. Look for something that looks similar to a blow off valve with the vent tube plumbed back into the intake somewhere.

Q: I have broken head gasket for my 89 supra turbo should i sell or fix it?
the water is mixing with the motor oil and i wanted to see if its good to fix it or just get rid of the car and the car has been overheating lately also

A: If you are familiar with engines, It;s not too hard. Make sure there is not any damage to the head once you remove it. Change your oil, it should be milky right now. Once you replace the head you need to do a compression test and make sure you torque your head bolts to spec. Oh and you’ll need some coolant!

Q: what car what have a faster time in the quarter mile and eighth mile? ‘98 firebird or ‘89 supra turbo?
i can’t decide which one to buy. in the end which will give me the faster times before working on it and after working on it. which one would take more money to work on

A: this isn’t even a question!!!supra man!! all the way

Q: hitch and a trailer on a 89 supra?
can I put a hitch and a trailer on a 89 supra? just need a trailer big enough to fit my motorcycle, a couch, and a 47″ LCD monitor. dumb question probably, was just wondering.
oh yea, I need it to move across the country. from Illinois to Arizona

A: I would not try it

Q: would you buy an 89 supra turbo for 3000… good condition, stock, and runs good.?
my friend’s brother is selling it but i dont know i should get that or like a 97-99 eclipse gst… what would be a better choice in the long run… planning on keeping it for like 5-6 years

A: You have to go with the Supra. That car is a legend. In the year 1987 the Toyota Celica and the Supra were one car. But the Celica became a front wheel car and the Supra stand to be a rear-wheel. That is one advanage that the Supra has over the Eclipse. Because the Eclipse is a front wheel car and the Supra is rear wheel and rear wheel are a whole lot more funner to drive. And for $3000 in good condition is not a bad deal. But still try to chew them down the lower. The Supra has an inline 6 engine which is rare to fine now. The inline 6 are better in my opinion then the V6 because they are a whole lot more easier to work on. Also the Mark III 1989 Supra Turbo comes stock with a 3.0L engine with 232 horesepower. If I was you I would go with the Supra, but that is just my opinion. The Eclipse is not that bad either, there both still Japanse’s car which are going to tend to be more reliable. Good luck with your decision.

Q: 89 supra/cressida cable replacement?
i was wondering if anyone knew a site i could go on or an online free manual i could look at for my 89 toyota supra. it has the same engine as the cressida. i have the transmission detent cable (the one that controls downshifting) (part of throttle cable assembly) and need to know how to put it on. need to know if i need to remove anything or if there is a simple way to do it. thanks.

A: i own a repair shop, and i think on this one you have to remove the trans-pan,and it hooks on from the inside of it,i have did those before, but its been a while ,but i think that’s it,,i don’t know of any sites that have it up for viewing,,good luck i hope this help,s.

Q: I just bought a 89 toyota supra and it wont start. ?
i bought a new battery i filled all the fluids and nothing. i even tried to jump the new battery. i just don’t know. it was running fine yesterday and now nothing. can someone please help?

A: well when you disconnect the battery it will reset everything, this includes the security system if it has an aftermarket one, alot of the time aftermarket security systems cut the ignition power after being reset.sounds to me like when you bought it they neglected to tell you that there was a security system present, so i would call whoever you bought it from and ask them if this is the case.

Q: Used JDM Engine for 89 Supra?
A few hours ago, I posted a question about a Supra with a blown head gasket. One of the people that answered replied that its better and cheaper to just get another engine, rather than have the head gasket repaired, and said that there are used JDM engines for around 700. Where can I find these engines? websites/links? And will they fit an 89 Supra? Thanks in advance.

A: The two best places that I have ever dealt with for JDM engines are:

Japan General Motors at http://www.japangeneralmotor.com

and JDM Engine, The Company, at http://www.jdmengineimport.com

I think you can get their phone numbers on their websites. They have toll-free numbers. You can ask for Deler or Sam in Japan General Motors, and for Karim in JDM Engine. If you want, you can even tell them that I told you to talk to them. My name is Adolfo. You will not be disappointed. Good luck

Q: can a 87 supra non turbo head gasket replace a 89 supra turbo head gasket?

A: Spend the money and get the correct gasket and only replace it once. If you use a non turbo on a turbo you are going to blow it soon. The turbo gasket is made to withstand the extra pressure that the turbo adds.

Q: were can i find a factory steering wheel for aan 89 supra turbo with cruise control?

A: www.ebay.com

Q: How do I change out the starter from a 87 Supra with the 7mgte engine?
Its an 87 Supra with 7mgte and automatic transmission. Somebody told me that i need to separate the tranny from the engine to get to it.

A: it’s prety straight forward if you have a lift its a lot easier jus look where the old one is a nd move every thing thats in the way and yeah you will probably have to take out the transmission

Q: i want to increase the performance of my 87 toyota supra?
i bought a 87 supra with 124 k miles on the original engine. it gets 16-17 miles in the city and 22 on the highway.

can i change this?

what mods can i do to increase my mpg on this car [ even if its not that much it would make a difference]

and also

what mods can i do to make it more powerful like increasing horsepower?

A: a new high performance intake, a k&n air filter, denso spark plugs, a highperformance exhaust and computer tuning will give you both economy and more power.

but for just power a turbo is the way to go if you want serious horsepower.

Q: what spark plugs do i need and how many for my 87 supra ?
i need to know which ones fit and would increase my mileage and performance!

i know not too much about cars but this would help a lot!

please give me a great brand and model of their spark plug that would fit my 87 supra turbo stock engine

and how much of these spark plugs do i need?

A: NGK spark plugs are the brand of choice for Japanese cars and trucks. Your engine will be an inline-six, which is a good motor. Thus, you will need 6 spark plugs.

Q: what exhaust would be best for my 87 supra with a 1jz conversion?
my and my dad are building a 1jz motor to put in my 1987 toyota supra (ma70) i know everything i want to put in it except for the exhaust. which exhaust is the best option for me?

A: well a good downpipe first of all. i wouldnt run a cat but thats up to you. i have an RS-R catback on mine and i love it. go on youtube and look around. there are alot of videos on there of supra exhaust clips.

Q: how much paint is needed to repaint an 87 toyota supra?
i have an 87 toyota supra and i want to repaint it. no body work is required i just want to change the color. i dont know how much paint to buy.

A: you should get a pro to do it but if you buy cans you would need about 7to11 cans to complete and less if you use a primer

Q: How much would it cost to repair a blown head gasket on a 87 supra turbo?
Approximately how much would this all cost, including the head bolt torque adjustments. I am aware time is a factor of payment. And what about if i purchased a head gasket myself and had my mechanic install it?

A: my buddy paid $1200 to have a head gasket done at a shop (and that was several years ago). repair manual=$20 top end gasket set= around $75 that warm fuzzy feeling you get knowing you did it yourself and saved a bunch of money=priceless

like the guy above said, find a buddy who knows what they are doing and give them 200-300 and save yourself some money.

head bolt torque adj??? you use a torque wrench in 3 steps to around 85lb. its a proceedure, not part you need= head gasket, maybe exhaust gasket, maybe intake gasket, maybe valve cover gasket . i don’t think a shop will discount for parts brought in.

Q: Camshaft is broken in my 87 toyota supra. whats the best place or web to buy it cheat and fast?
where can i shop to buy camshaft for my 87 toyota supra, and that its cheat and fast?

A: try a salvage yard

Q: What 87 Supra Turbo Mods should I get?
Not thinking of the budget, and without using a different engine other than the 7mgte, what mods for performance would you buy in order?

A: ^^^^intake and headers with a turbo?…..LMAO
this is what i would do
- FMIC i have seen improvements up to 40hp with a better intercooler, with a better BOV ( i like the go fast bits ones, their sound adjustable but a little pricey) looks nice too =)
-Bigger turbo
- a nice electronic boost gaudge i like blitz or greedy
-better radiator, less heat = more power!
Good Luck!

Q: I have a 87 supra and the oil pressure gauge isn’t working?
I was wondering if anyone could guide me through on how to fix it or if you know somewhere that tells me how. I know it has to be something wrong with the sensor because i took a multi meter to the back of the gauge and it works.
Thanks

A: Check the sensor for any signs of leaking. Also, Yota had a problem with sludging engines from 1987-2002, so the sensor may be clogged with oil sludge. You might want to change it, or at least take it out and check it internally. I would check the wiring going to it, and make sure it isn’t routed in a way that heat would cause the wire to become brittle or contaminated with road debris or oil. Good luck.

Q: What are the main problems with the 87-92 supra turbos?
Like I hear alot of people blow their supra turbo engine. What are like the problems with it?

A: These are very reliable cars. The only problems are the typical turbo issues- cooling system and turbo. You don’t really need a bigger radiator but it would improve cooling further. Toyota really did a good job on the Supra’s cooling systems. Also, another problem is turbo failure. This a common problem on most turbo engines and most of it is caused by operator error. A turbo engine should idle for 2-3 minutes after it’s been driven on the freeway or been driven hard. Many owners are unaware of this so many turbocharged cars have issues because of this. Your best bet is to add a turbo timer to your car. The average price is between $300-$500 depending on the model. You can leave your car running while you’re away from it. the timer will turn the car off after the set time.

Q: I just bought an 87 supra turbo automatic; is there a way I can swap a transmission from a n/a turbo supra?
It has to be 5 speed.
Would the N/A 5 speed transmission work for my turbo supra?

A: a trans from a non turbo will not hold up,get one from a turbo supra it will cost more but well worth it try to find a manual supra in a junk yard(turbo or non)for all the odd parts you will need but get a new master and slave cylinder

Q: How do you increase the oil pressure from 3 kg/sq. cm on a newly-rebuilt ‘87 Supra with turbo and oil cooler?
The oil pump, and engine bearings are all within specification. It has an external oil cooler.

A: 3kg /sq cm is about 42.6 pounds sq inch that is normal for idle. to up the pressure even more the pump in the oil pan needs to be replaced or rebuilt the relief valve is on the pump also. you can change the spring pressure also they have kits in the rebuild kit for the pump.
3kgs is what my rx-7 ran at and it lasted for three years untill my girlfriend overheated the engine and you had to push it to start.

Q: Im trying to make my 87 supra as fast as it can with the the 7M-GTE what can i do?
what headers?
is it gonna handle a abigger turbo than the stock one?
exaust?
I hope you people help me…thanks!

A: bigger turbo. Bigger intercooler. Larger fuel injectors. Upgraded stand alone fuel management system. Header. Take out the catalytic converters and put a free-flow exhaust on it. Forged pistons.

The sky’s the limit as well as your wallet is unlimited as well.

Best thing would be to check out some of the different Supra club web pages and see what some of these guys have done to their cars.

It’s best to learn from other people’s trial and error, but you need to have a budget in mind as well so that your components will work well together instead of against each other.

Q: I need help with my 87 supra…i get electrical but i get no crank but my starter and alternator r both good?

A: A fully charged battery should measure 12.6 volts using a DMM voltmeter as below. You need to remove and clean your battery cable connectors with a wire brush as shown in the video below.

http://www.ehow.com/how_512_replace-car-battery.html

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2010636/c-10101/Nty-1/p-2010636/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/N-10101/tf-Browse/s-10101/Ntk-AllTextSearchGroup?Ntt=battery+post+cleaner+brush

Q: can you put another turbo on a 87 toyota supra turbo?
i have a 1987 toyota supra with turbo i was wondering if you can put another one on it?

A: Of course you can put another one on, but it would be a waste of money. You can make the same power and boost with a bigger single turbo, and in this case with less work, than trying to put a second turbo flange and a 2nd turbo on this one. With the supra being an inline 6 engine, all of the cylinders exit into 1 manifold, so it’s just more sensible to run 1 turbo. The piping is more simple, the installation is cleaner, there’s less to break, less to go wrong, easier to troubleshoot, etc. Now, if all you’re after is more power, just get a bigger turbo, but be advised that an 87 supra turbo isn’t made for big power.

Q: 1994 Supra….?
Does anyone know how much it costs to run a 94 N/A supra (repairs, maintainence ect.) and also how long the engine typically lasts with average driving.
Personal experiences would be nice but thanx ahead of time to anybody that responds.

A: If the engine and transmission (whether it be a manual or auto) is in good condition, you really should have pretty good luck with it. They were very good (all around) cars. The Supra was the sportiest of all Toyotas so I am pretty sure that unless the previous owner trashed it, it should be a good car. An old roommate of mine had one. It was a great car, of course it was only 4 years old at the time. However, like all other Jap cars, parts and labor are more pricey. Although, if you can find a decent mechanic that has his own business or someplace like a Sears Auto Center, they will work on foreign cars. Even upgrade them for you. So buy the car if you haven’t.

Q: How much will a turbo cost for my 1994 non-turbo supra?
I have a 1994 non-turbo toyota supra, it’s all stock just lowered and new rims. How much can i expect the turbo to cost? I know they are not cheap but was wondering. If it costs a lot I might save some money and buy a TT supra next year.

A: To convert a non-turbo to turbo, first convert non-turbo car to cash. Then add more cash and get the car you want. It’s easier, cheaper, faster, and you have a car that can be serviced and sold, not a mongrel that nobody knows how to fix.

Q: I own a 1994 toyota supra i want to know if i should put a huge wing on it (just for looks) what shud i do?
i have a 1994 toyota supra without a wing… it looks nice it has a bomex body kit and a fat exhaust with 17’s but i kinda liek the fat wing look but im not sure if i should risk gettign holes drilled in for it to be put in. do you guys think itd look good or not?

A: Skip the wing and invest the money into mods that actually make the car go faster, turn better, or stop shorter.

Q: How much can I pay for a toyota supra 1994 model which has run 75000 miles?

A: You should go to kellybluebook.com and enter in the required information to get a good estimate on what the car is worth. It will ask you questions about mileage, condition, etc. It only takes about five minutes. This should tell you what you need to know. I love the Toyota Supra. Classic. Good luck!

Q: Where can I find headlights for my 1994 Toyota Supra?
Please be specific, I dont care if they are original or aftermarket, they just need to be new.

Please give a direct link if possible, and please make sure that if you find something on ebay, that they are the actual headlights, and not just the halo part.

Thanks
Im looking for the actual headlight itself, like the entire lens and casing. I went to toyota, they were $600 for the pair, If no one can find them on here, thats where I have to go..

A: www.mvpmotorsports.com

they specialize in parts for the mkiv supra. You can get the euro glass headlights which look night and day difference from the stock plastic ones and will not leak like the stockers.

I believe they sell for around 500 for the pair. they should have them in stock.

If they dont have them in stock, try powerhouse racing or horsepowerfreaks.com

Q: Which car should i get 1994 toyota supra or 1995 acura nsx?
Which is better? Which has more horsepower? Which one is better to customize? Please include specs if possible. Oh, and please don’t put answers like, why don’t you get a _____ instead. Thanks in advance.

A: I assume you are considering the top of the line Supra model. This is the model I used to compare to the NSX. Although the Supra has a ton more horsepower and torque, it weighs a little bit more, and is basically the same in the 0-60mph run (slower by .2 seconds).
So all in all, they basically have equal performance. I love both cars, and it would be a tough choice between the two. I suggest you drive both and see if you like the way 1 or the other feels, or if there are cetain options that you like better in one than the other.
I do not have any personal experience with an NSX, but I would assume it would have a more track-like ride to it, whereas the Supra might be more comfortable being driven daily.
Both cars are awesome and have a big aftermarket of parts.
The NSX stands out more and looks more exotic, but the twin turbo Supra is also one hell of a car!

Specs:
1995 Acura NSX
270HP
210 ft-lb torque
3.0 Liter V-6
3,010 lb curb weight
0-60mph in approx. 5.0 seconds

1994 Toyota Supra (twin turbo model)
320HP
315 ft-lb torque
3.0 Liter inline 6 cylidner
3,215 lb curb weight
0-60mph in approx. 5.2 seconds

Q: Does anyone know the correct type of oil to use in a 1994 Toyota Supra N/A?
This is the MKIV Supra.

A: Google castrol uk for grade and qty.

Q: is it possible to put a lamborghini engine/motor into a 1994 Toyota Supra?
ok so im really into cars and my Favorite cars as of right now are the :

Ferrari F430 Scrudia
Lamborghini Murcielago LP-640
1993-1999 Toyota Supra
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7-9

And would it be possible to take EVERYTHING- out of a Lamborghini Murcielago’s Car and put it in a supra’s car model?
and if so would it work and be as fast as it?

A: Im sure its possible, but there would have to be alot of body work to fit it inside, and the engine would have to be redone to make it fit the frame of the supra. It would cost you thousands and you’d have to find some place wher they do custom jobs like that, but i dont get why anybody would do that. It would be just as fast, just a different frame/car then the lamborghini. You’d also probably have to change everthing under the car just so it could work.

Q: Where can I get a nice 1994 Toyota Supra in Illinois?
I love this kind of car and I’m dying for one.
Can anyone find a really really good website I can find one?
I’ve already tried craigslist, cars.com, blahblah.
Please help!!
Or is someone selling???
And it needs to be 5,000 or less dollars.
I’ve found a lot of Supras that are really cheap but they’re too far away for me to go get it or when I click on the link for the car it redirects me somewhere else.

A: Are you serious? Because unless you’re willing to severely sacrifice the condition of the car you’re not going to find a 5k or even a sub 10k MKIV(‘92.5-’98) Supra anywhere.

If you go for a sub $5k Supra be prepared for hefty engine work/interior work bills, because likely there is something wrong with it. Think logically, if someone can get 3x the amount of money for a properly functioning ‘94 SUPRA(non turbo) why wouldn’t they? Answer, there is something wrong with it. Plus even if you get one(willing to sink a fortune in it and all) not everyone is qualified to work on those cars, since they have been out of production for 10 years. If you go for it be sure to line up a good knowledgeable(at least 10 yrs experience) Toyota/Lexus Mechanic.

I have an MKIII which is a 91, and you want an MKIV that’s a 94. Mine came with 78K miles, mint, and I had to pay $9,500k for it (it IS a turbo and after all the mods the car IS fast)

Expect to pay at least 15k for the non turbo engine MKIV Supra. And that’s off e-bay. I know I always look for them.

The problem is that not many manufacturers make a turbo capable inline 6 cylinder engine today (you want a 2jzgte). Every one has gone to V style which is okay but not great for torque. Also the Supra hasn’t been in production since 1998, which of course makes it more of a collectors item/desirable=price hike.

I want one because I’m a Supra fan, had an MKII(got stolen during a trip, BASTARDS!), Have an MKIII, and want an MKIV just because I want more cars than my driveway can handle. When my boyfriend pays for it of course…lol. Want a nice low mileage for around $35k or so. The mods will probably cost almost as much.

I must say the “IS” line of LEXUS (Toyota’s luxury cars, specifically the IS300) had the inline six engine 2JZGEfrom ‘01 to ‘05. MKIV (NA-Normally Aspirated, non-turbo) Supras had those from ‘92.5-’98. So if you want an inline six, non turbo ready, your best bet would be Lexus, and that isn’t cheap either.

You gotta pay to play.

I also have a ‘94 Celica, about to put a 3SGTE in it. That will be fun.

Q: Will 1994 non turbo Toyota supra coil springs fit a 1998 vvti Japanese import Toyota supra?
Hey guys wonder if any of you guys know the answer, my 1998 Toyota supra vvti Japanese spec supra needs new coil over springs for the suspension I am wondering are 1994 united kingdom spec non turbo supra coil over springs compatible as I believe some other parts are. The coil over springs are Yamaha (rar) suspension. And I am looking for a cost effective solution.

A: Call your autowrecker or toyota dealer for an answer
Turbo or non has little and usually nothing to do with suspension
They just ask you that to complicate and confuse you so you think it does

Q: What was the original selling price for a MK IV supra from 1994-1998?
Any of those years. Turbo and N/A and list the source please

A: An entry level TT was $42,000.

N/A was $33,000.

Currently if were talking about a very low mileage car (60,000 to be specific)

N/A is around $15,000

TT is around $30,000

And… a TT in a rare color… like Royal Sapphire Pearl (only made in ‘97 and ‘98 and only 30 made with a 6 speed) You’re looking at no less than $60,000

Q: Is a 1994 Supra twin turbo woth $10,000? Supra has 94,000K on body and 40K on engine?
If it is worth it what could I do to make it an absoulute monster? Tear up the streets teach those stangs their place all while still being drivable and sensible. Like oh say 500+ RWHP!

A: All depends on condition of the car. There are only couples of speed shops in US that are even qualified to install twin turbo on this engine. If it is done right, the engine would’ve been pulled out, completely rebuilt to support the additional pressure due to the twin turbo.

Supra in stock condition itself is now becoming a collector’s car. If you can find one in good condition with low mileage, it maybe worth over $5000. Add a twin turbo, I am guessing that it should be worth over $10,000. Only if you are dealing with a person who knows about cars. If buyer is ignorant, then they are not going to see the value of the car. These cars, if completely restored, can go up to $30,000.

Q: Is there another car that looks similar to the 1994 Toyota supra but cheaper?

A: 300zx would be the closest, but nothing can replace a supra, its just a awesome machine!

Q: 1994 supra headlight bulbs?
whats the best brand and type of headlight to put on my 1994 toyota supra. what are the bulb specs? and how much?

A: The best brand: Osram/Sylvania

Specs: 12V 65W; inner filament 12V 65W outer filament

Part number: 4B400-118315

Price: $31.95

You get what you pay for…

Q: 1994 Twin Turbo Supra would I be able to handel it obviously not being an idiot!?
Wanting to purchase a supra and the one I like is a twin turbo, I dont drive like an idiot and have never driven turbo let alone twin before, is this a car I can handel when driving properly not being stupid.

A: One of the selling points for me on turbo instead of super charging is that the turbo is more of an on demand thing.
One hint on learning to drive it, is to take the time to learn it by driving. Don’t push it.

Q: Is it possible to convert a 1993 supra automatic to manual if so how much does it cost?
I was thinking of buying a 93-94 supra but i wanted to know if you can convert automatic to manual if yes how much does it cost in order to do so? WIll it be the same advantage as a stock manual 1?

A: it will cost alot a stock 6-speed supra trans are very expensive and rare there is only one on ebay and they want almost $4000 for it. also you need tuns of other stuff, ecu, driveshaft, clutch pedal and cylinder, there is alot more anyway even if you looks for used and cheep parts you will end up spending almost $8000. i would sell that supra and buy a manuel one. but if you are going high power the autos are good that trans is rock solid for high HP. but manuel is cooler
i think there are less parts if you have a non-turbo and you might go with a old 5-speed trans which is much cheeper might be able to get it done for $3500 yourself

Q: How much fuel does a 1993 Toyota Supra use?
1993 Toyota Supra MK IV (3000cc, Automatic, Non – Turbo, Stock)

I don’t drive like an idiot (flooring it everywhere I go) nor do i burnout, skid or trash cars.

Just for everyday driving around 50km – 60km a day?

How much would a full tank cost and how much to fill up full?

More expensive than a RB25DE skyline to run??

A: The MK4 na Supra drinks all but the same as tt version fuel wise is around 22 on a good open road and around town it drops down to around 17 or below and it needs high octane fuel and never put any less in there.

I drive a RB25DET and if i drive slow i get around 14mpg around town and a lot better on the open road. But i know others owners who get better mpg not a great lot more but more so for the RB25DE you should see a good bit higher than that.

Check sites out like skylineowners.com as they often have mpg threads and i am sure they will have the same on Supra forums.

The fuel cost is high and again on high octane fuel but worth every penny.Just to get to drive such great cars every day.

Q: How do i figure out what number my 1993 Toyota Supra was off of the assembly line?
I wanna know how close it was to being 1st off the line!

A: The 12th through 18th numbers on the VIN is the production number of your car.

Q: Did the 1993 Supra come with a stock CD player?
Possibly , well overly sure im getting it… But did a ‘93 Supra come with one stock..
Twin Turbo Model

A: Non-turbo was optional.

Q: 1993 Toyota Supra – How To Import The Toyota Supra MK3 | MK4 From Japan To Canada?
Looking for specifications & price of the JDM 1993 (MK3 / MK4) Toyota Supra and where I can get the model Supra for sale.

A: Did you know that the Toyota Supra was used in the Vin Diesel – Paul Walker movie ‘The Fast And The Furious’? It’s the same popularity that makes the 1993 Supra one of the most sought-after cars at Japanese car auctions and private dealerships across Canada and the USA.

Specs wise it’s an awesome, powerful sports car with a 2997cc engine, 6-speed manual / 4-speed automatic transmission and a 0–60 mph pick up in just 4.6 seconds (the turbocharged variant). The MK4 Supra’s twin turbos operate in sequential mode with ceramic blades for the Japanese market and steel blades for USA / UK markets.

JDM Dealer stocks in Canada and Yahoo Auction in Japan are two well-known options to import the 1993 Toyota Supra to Canada. But if you’re importing for the first time, you need facts before you head into this arena. It can be highly profitable if you’re looking to resell, but also a little daunting given the uniqueness of the method.

My personal choice therefore is not a company-owned auction site but two complementary sites created by an import professional:
1. How To Import a Japanese Car
http://JapaneseCarImport.pinurl.com
2. How To Import Japanese Car Parts

http://JapaneseCarParts.pinurl.com

The guy’s a recognized expert who works in freight handling as his day job and has years of experience importing Japanese cars to 4 different countries – Australia, Canada, USA and UK. His sites feature tons of inside info on how to import Japanese cars and car parts for cheap (including the 1993 Supra), backed by a 1000’s of active members connected to up-to-the-minute auction feeds.

Give it a shot. These are the exact sites that helped me import a Toyota Soarer to Toronto for just over $3,000 Canadian (bid price).

Q: How fast is a stocked 1993 Toyota Supra with Twin Turbo? 0-60?
I was wondering how fast a 1993 toyota supra with tt from 0-60? Everything is stocked and no mods or anything. thanks

A: added links as often when you just add a figure along with so many other people a link helps back answer up.

http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/specs.htm

http://www.channel4.com/4car/ft/buying+guide
/used+car+buying+guide/1173/10

The official UK cars pumped out 326 bhp and 4.9-second 0-60 times, although the Japanese-market car that continued (badged RZ or GZ) was slightly slower: 0-60 in all of 5.1 seconds. A normally-aspirated version was also offered in Japan, the SZ (225 bhp, 0-60 in 6.5 seconds) although, quite honestly, why bother when the turbos are so cheap? You certainly don’t reap the reward in fuel economy: the SZ does only 20 mpg, compared with the RZ/GZ’s 18 mpg…

With the fourth generation of the Supra, Toyota took a big leap in the direction of a more serious high performance car. Test model pre-production started in December 1992 and official mass production began in April 1993.[12] The new Supra was completely redesigned, with rounded body styling and featured two new engines: a naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE producing 220 hp (160 kW; 220 PS) at 5800 rpm and 210 ft·lb (280 N·m) at 4800 rpm of torque and a twin turbocharged 2JZ-GTE making 280 hp (209 kW; 284 PS) and 318 ft·lb (431 N·m) of torque for the Japanese version. For the export model (America/Europe) Toyota upgraded the Supra turbo’s engine (smaller, steel wheeled turbochargers, bigger fuel injectors, etc.). This increased the power output to 320 hp (240 kW; 320 PS) at 5600 rpm and 315 ft·lb (427 N·m) at 4000 rpm. The turbocharged variant could achieve 0–60 mph in as low as 4.6 seconds and 1/4 mile (402 m) in 13.1 seconds at 109 mph (175 km/h) [2]. The turbo version was tested to reach over 291 km/h (181 mph) all-stock, but the cars are restricted to just 180 km/h (112 mph) in Japan and 250 km/h (155 mph) elsewhere. European versions also had an air intake on the bonnet (hood). Drag coefficient is .31 for the naturally aspirated models and .32 for the turbo models and N/A’s with the rear spoiler.

Q: Does anyone have a Toyota supra 1993 or newer for sale and if so let me know the specs and price?
I’m just looking around for a decent Toyota Supra preferably in Canada for a decent price and in excellent condition

A: 20G’S-30G’S IS THE PRICE RANGE FOR TURBOS! 10g-20g is N/A

Q: I want some facts about the toyota supra 1993-1998?
ok i want to buy a toyota supra of the year 1993-1998, but im thinking, is it worth it to pay so much for a car with so many miles on it, im scared that it will keep breaking down on me,if any one can tell me how good this car? i want to take care of it and probably take it to car shows and maybe a few races here and there you know. =)

A: can’t spell google?
try these

Q: What do u think is the best car 1993-1995 mazda rx7 tt or 1993-1998 toyota supra tt and what year is best?
I am planning to get one of them in the near future.

A: I would definetly go with the Supra. Great cars. I would go with any year as long as it had the T top. Its easier to get more horsepower, capable of more horses. Dont get me wrong the RX7 is a great car too but not capable as much power. You sure do have great taste in cars. really any of the 2 that you get will be great though.

Q: Can i register a japanese toyota supra which has manufacture date November 1993?
I got a supra from japan. siting in my garage… dont know if i can register it or not. cuz its not axactly 15 yrs old.. i think i need to wait till november.. so if u have info please let me know..
thanx

A: Contact the DOT. DOT.gov

Q: Any one know about the reliability of a 1993 or so supra?
Well when I was 16 I bought a 1995 talon great car never had any problems ….. untill I totalled it ……. racing somebodys mom it’s actually a funny story but any way even after totalling it that car still lasted me a while and besides it needing new tires once a month was still a great car. I then at 17 bought a 1994 dodge stealth non turbo version and from about day 2 always had a problem with it I mean every time I drove it something else broke for some reason I was replacing struts every other week doing engine work or something and it only had 80 or 90k eventually I gave up and sold it. Shortly after I bought a twin turbo 3000gt and constantly had problems up until the day I some how threw a rod driving 60 in 5th gear I then sold it and stuck with my truck that I never had a problem with. I want to buy a 1993 through 1998 supra TT but don’t want to always be working on it did I just have bad luck before? Any one know how reliable a supra is I’ve seen some with over 200k on them

A: When your talking about a high performance car that has been beat on for the last 10-15 years (double the average life expectency of a car), and modified and tinkered with in god knows what ways, what you get is what you get. Make sure the car is sound before you buy it and hope for the best.

Q: where to find a 1991-1993 supra for sale in charlotte nc?

A: Just check the local papers and craigslist if you really want one of those sport car wannabees….

They sound like fart cannons………

Q: can i change the 5spd manual transmission to a 6spd on a toyota supra (1993-1998)?
if so, could i put a 2jz-det engine?

A: The only reason I would put a 6-speed on an n/a Supra would be because I am swapping the engine for the 2JZGTE, which would require it.

Other than that, it would be much cheaper, and easier to just supercharge (/turbo) your existing 2JZ.

While the stock internals on the turbo engine are stronger than the n/a, unless you’re getting into serious racing your engine & transmission won’t need to be equipped to handle that kind of power.

If you just want a quick car, a few aftermarket bolt-ons like supercharger, intercooler, intake, exhaust could easily bring you to over 300 hp.

Q: where can I find a good deal on a 1993 to 1998 toyota supra?

A: not sure about those but I can help you out on an 86 Turbo if you are interested!

Q: how can you make a 1993-1998 toyota SUPRA FASTER?????????
all modifications ideas are welcomed. but remember that my supra is a 1995 naturally aspirated version. it does not have the twin turbo. thanks a lot!!!

A: First off prise off the yoter symble; just joking. You might try a turbo and or exaust. Cold air intake makes a world of diffrence. Also try putting a tuner chip on it, makes your engine work better and alows you to moniter and change settings to get the best performance out of your yoter. Have fun.

Q: What is the best way to mod a stock 1990 toyota supra turbo?
I just got my hands on a stock one of these sweet rides and all needs is a little paint job and some modding. Any suggestions?

A: Yes, go to this site and get a real engine for it, one with a back bone. http://www.corvette-engines.com/

The modifications won’t be easy but you will double the performance.

Q: is it possible to easily make a 1990 supra look like a later model?
such as a 94 or 98?

A: If you try to make you 90 supra look a 94, save your money and buy a 94 because the amount that you gonna spend will be more.

Q: 1990 Toyota Supra Power Steering?
I have a 1990 supra turbo and the rack and pinion has gone out on it, i went to a parts place and they told me that it has 2 different parts avaliable, one with emf and one without. i looked at pictures of them and i couldn’t tell a difference. is there a way to find out which one it is?

A: I couldn’t find EMF in Toyoto information, but the 90 Supra had an option with or without Progressive Power Steering, or PPS. A PPS model has a solenoid called a Pressure Control Valve built onto the housing for the pinion of the Rack and Pinion. If necessary, you could put a non PPS in place of one with it and it would work, but it won’t do you any good to go the other way. Look for an electrical connection on the vertical part of the steering gear. That will identify it as having PPS.

Q: My 1990 toyota supra headlights flip up, but do not turn on,can someone please help me?
The dash lights and and brake lights all work just fine…but when i turn the switch the headlights flip up…but do not turn on.Anyone have any suggestions?

A: check the bulbs check for 12v feed to the bulb check the earth check the relay.??.. switch ??

Q: Does a 1990 supra raditator fit in a 2000 civic ?

A: well the size of the supras raditator is way longer n bigger than the civic
so if course…..NOT!

Q: 1990 supra over heating?
my 1990 supra keeps overheating. ive checked for a blown head gasket, warped head, and cracked block. ive checked all the fluids but cannot find anything wrong.
please help.
if you have no Knowledge of the 7m-gte motor do not respond to this
it has a greddy turbo kit, full intercooler and oversized oil pan for the turbo lines. it also has an oil cooler. ive checked the thermostat and its still good.

A: have a cylinder leak down test done what it does blows compressed air into the the cumbustion chamber and itll tell you if you have any sort of leaks in the engine what so ever and where at the test runs about 70 dollars on a v-8 down here and yes check thermastat slight possibilty it could be sticking not likely but always a shot

Q: 1990 supra boost levels?
i have a 1990 supra, rebuilt engine, felpro head gasket, running near stock compression not 100% sure what its at, everything else is currently stock, at what psi do i have to start worrying about fuel cut/detonation?

A: im figuring you have a factory turbo? if so i would not suggest running more than 10.5-11 psi. the first thing i would do is get a free flow exhaust and filter, then add an hks head gasket arp head studs and walbaro fuel pump. after all that then you could bump it up to 11lbs safely and have about 300whp

Q: where can i get a left hand door for a 1990 toyota supra?
we got a pretty huge dent in the door that effects how it works and i want to know where to get it from

A: www.japanpartner.com

Q: repairs for 1990 supra?
how much would i have to spend for maintenance yearly for a 1990 supra, what would be some possible things that would need to be changed

A: like 200-400 bucks a year max. I have a 91 turbo myself. What model supra do you have?

Q: I have a 1990 Toyota Supra. The rear hatch rattles when going over bumps. Is there a fix to this problem?

A: the gasket is worn. replace it and re adjust the hatch latch. it has re adjustment screws. on the latch itself.

Q: 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo?
Ok i just bought a 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo
about a week ago and its super amazing, i couldnt
ask for a better car.

But i was reading that the headgaskets go out really easy….
When it does what exactly happens? How much is a new one?
And how much would it cost to have them install it?

Also what are some minor upgrades/parts you guys suggest in
the performance criteara? Like what should i buy first?

A: The head gasket is between the head and block. When it goes bad, coolant seeps into the cylinders. That’s bad not only because it fouls the combustion, but the loss of coolant could over heat the engine and cause major damage. to the head and engine. And it could warp the head which could mean having it machined flat again or replaced. Head gaskets are a cheap part but expensive to replace.
If your worried about blowing a head gasket, I wouldn’t recommend any performance mods.

Q: 1990 supra turbo next mod?
i have a 1990 supra, just upgraded the turbo from a ct26 to a ct40 and i need some imput on the next mod. the car is bone stock except for the new turbo and sound system and a alram system im about to put into it. i know that the head gaskets tend to go out on them pretty fast and im already in the milage where they usually go and im on a budget so im limited to how much i can do so from the list what would be best?

metal head gasket
blow off valve
turbo timer
boost controller
cat back exhaust
high flow cat

any other ideas would be appreciated. oh i have about 1000 but i need to get some all season tires cuz winter is coming up and im in colorado.

A: You really need all of the above if you want your turbo to work properly without hurting your engine!!
I would recommend a cat back exhuast 1st to get some of the pressure out faster, and a blow off valve to help releive pressure on the turbo.
Next shortly after would be the head gasket, and finally the timers and controllers to help make the turbo work at it’s best.
You really should already have at least the exhuast and blow off valve, is the rest of the engine stock? There are a lot of things you need to do to the engine when you increase PSI a lot by upgrading turbo’s.
Good Luck

Q: How much hp does a 1990 supra have ?
thanks

A: Couldnt tell you anymore than they have.

Q: buying a 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo?
I’m thinking about buying a used toyota supra turbo from a private owner and was wondering what type of questions to ask and wat to look out for on the car. and general information like how well the turbo’s last over time and overall preformance of the car over time.

A: well its awesome car i have one my self you need to ask first it it has had a head gasket done yet that is the main thing. then just normal things about a used car how many miles and thing like that i would like to see the ad if you have it and mabey a pic with his asking price to help you get a good deal.

Q: 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo, Upgrading Help?
Ok i just bought a 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo
about a week ago and its super amazing, i couldnt
ask for a better car.

But i was reading that the headgaskets go out really easy….
And how much would it cost to have them install it?

Also what are some minor upgrades/parts you guys suggest in
the performance criteara? Like what should i buy first?

A: My boyfriend has the 85 supra. & loves it too.

It sucks when that goes..went in my old car.

It overheats all the time.
I believe the actual part is cheap.. but the installation of it is very very very expensive for a mechanic to do and im sure extremely hard to yourself unless you know waht you are doing.

Q: Is it possible to swap engines form a Supra JDM 2JZ-GTE Engine to a 1988 supra?
i was wondering if it ws possibel to swap engines not only Toyota Supra JDM 2JZ-GTE Engines but form 1993 engines and up to a 1988 supra

A: yes but you need the engine harness and ecu. It should have a 1jz in it now.

Q: WHICH OIL TO USE FOR TOYOTA SUPRA 1988 TURBO?
I have a 1988 supra turbo, what oil weight should I use? 10w30?…also, i always use full synthetic on my cars, so is it OK to use Full synthetic on this supra too?

A: you may use 20W50,
if weather temp will be around 30*F to above 80*F
if weather temp is from around 40*f and going down to 0*F use 5w50 or 5w40

the higher the temp, the higher viscosity, for winter it should be lower viscosity
for your car, the age must be considered too.. if overhauling done already, with hot temp, use the 20w50, most japanese cars use that rating..whether turbo or not..
use conventional oil only with classification of SL, SM .. .somewhere that range. but no SD,

Q: 1988 Toyota Supra Turbo Blown Engine Question?
I have found a 1988 Supra Turbo in very good condition except that the connecting rod is through the block. The car was not obviously abused. Is it possible to put a non turbo in the car? If not, any ideas where to find a used motor for it? I have looked in the obvious places near Philadelphia.

A: would not suggest putting non turbo engine in due to you would need change wiring harness and computer and do alot off problematic work to get running what you can do is get a motor out off a toyota cressida and use the bottom end (block, crank, rods, and pistons) same bottom end in both engines

Q: What’s a good price to pay for a 1988 Toyota Supra w/ a small leak in the power steering hose?
I’m considering buying this Supra. The owner informed me that it has a small leak in the power steering hose and the AC needs recharging. It has a clean CarFax. If this is to be my daily driver, do you think these are easy fixes for the vehicle? He is asking 2000.

A: Mileage, condition, tires, maintenance records? All these things make it impossible to say if this is a good deal or not. The fixes you mention are pretty easy; might run you $100 at some shops. Get an estimate by calling a local shop. You may be able to use that figure to negotiate a lower price.

If you really like the car, then it is a good price. If you don’t, then no price is cheap enough. I happen to like that model and, subject to my first sentence, I would consider it.

Q: How much would it cost to repair the transmission for a 1988 toyota supra mk3?
I’m considering buying one that’s on the market well under my budget, but the tranny has problems. I wanna know how much it would cost to repair because if it exceeds my budget, i may have to let it go.

A: take it to the shop, more than the car was worth new. do it yourself, use 3 diff trannys to make one sick ass tranny. or a rebuilt kit. a celica supra tranny might fit, duno much about supras and celicas.

Q: I have a 1988 toyota supra. I removed the cam position sensor without marking the position of the sensor rotor
I did not remove the sensor dust cover to see position of pickup how do I get the timing right.

A: Hello,

Please find attached link to Toyota forum.
Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Q: Where can I find stock side view mirrors for my 1988 toyota supra?
I had a minor accident and cracked the mirror (not the glass, the plastic part) and now my mirror wont adjust side to side (it has an electric motor for it) I was wondering where I can find these mirrors so I can replace it.

A: Have you tried the local junk yards? Otherwise the Parts Department at your local Toyota dealer might be able to order it, and then it should arrive in a few days.

If the price is too high/expensive in your opinion, then you might want to consider buying it and all any other parts you need from the best deals on the internet for Toyota genuine parts are at 2 Toyota dealers in Texas: (i) Toyota of Dallas and (ii) Toyota of Richardson (TX) where prices are 30% of MSRP plus S&H. We have owned 5 Toyotas brand new and I have been dealing with them for years (unless it’s an emergency or small dollar value) via facsimile and/or internet and they take credit card. They ship everywhere via Big Brown UPS and might possibly ship overseas.

At both of their websites, you just specify your Toyota vehicle the Year Model etc and then it is broken down into several categories and can also provide blowup expansion diagram so you know you order right part.

Hope the Above Info Helps & Best of Luck!

Q: 1988 Supra Engine and Transmission Swap?
I want to replace my 7mge with auto transmission with a 7mgte with attached 5 speed. Do the mounts for the engine and transmission match up?
I dont know what year supra the engine and transmission came from.

A: I had an 87 Supra Turbo with the 7mgte/ 5 spd. I would bet the engine mounts the same, not sure on the tranny.
That car was fast, faster than a corvette of the same yr.

Q: Which engine oil to use for toyota supra turbo 1988 193k miles?
Which engine oil to use for toyota supra turbo 1988 193k miles 10w30 or 5w30 or others….synthetic full or blend or neither.?

A: Took me a min to answer because I had to go look at the Royal Purple synthetic blend bottle I had to make sure I answered your inquiry right. 10W30 viscosity. The prob with full synth is that most cars back then didn’t start out with it. Since yours is a high mileage car (my ‘91 has 88k) you never know what the previous owners were using, and you really want to stick to whatever the car is used to.

I mean it’s not dyer, you can switch but it’s best to stick to one type. RP has worked great for me since five years ago.

Q: 1988 toyota supra why does my water run hot?
I have a 1988 toyota supra and it runs hot even though there was water in the radiator, i can hear water in my dash making water fall sounds
it also was steaming at the dash and not at the radiator i only drove a mile and it got hot
it also has gray smoke coming out of tail pipe sometime when im mostly at idle

A: MkIII 1987 to 1991 Supras are known for blowing a head gasket. Here’s what you can do to properly diagnose the problem.
1. If there is gray smoke or steam out the tailpipe, AND your water level in your radiator is low, you have a head gasket problem.
You indicated there seems to be water sloshing around in the dash with steam coming out.
This tells me you also have a defective heater core..
I would also recommend changing the thermostat AND fan clutch when you do these repairs. Typically the 3.0 engine is good for 500K miles without a rebuild if properly maintained. I have an 1984 with 250k on it ( same engine design) and it goes on long trips every year. If you do these thing along with a good tuneup, you can expect a long life out of the engine

take care

Q: 1988 Turbo Supra Overheating?
I’m looking at buying a 1988 Turbo Supra. The current owner says that it keeps overheating, so I was wondering what the possibilities were. They said that the heads are fine and that the head gaskets were professionally replaced. I also would like to know how to find the problem out.

A: Mechanics use a chemical that changes color in the presence of hydrocarbons to test the head gasket. They place a flask over the radiator mouth and collect fumes.

If you don’t have the flask with chemicals, watch carefully for bubbles that come to the surface when the car is idling.

If the heads were “professionally” repaired then try re-torqueing the head bolts. Loosen them in the correct sequence and retighten them.

Other signs are steam or moisture in the exhaust. Most cars have some steam, depending on humidity, but it stops when the car is warm.

There are other tricks. The leaky cylinder will have a super clean spark plug; it is continuously being steam cleaned.

There must have been a problem BEFORE the head gaskets failed, which caused them to fail. The 3 suspects are the radiator, the thermostat and the water pump.

Also, the V-belt that drives the water pump may need replacement. If it gets hard or rides too deeply in the groove, it will slip.

Either the original problem was never fixed or the head gasket still needs some attention.

Q: is there a way to reset a ect computer in a a/t supra 1988? if so how do i do that?

A: Normally you disconnect the battery for say …. 15 minutes. Hook it back up and everything is reset. At least on American cars. Not sure about the foreign things

Q: 1988 Toyota Supra to 2005 Toyota Celica engine swap?
I wanna swap a 1988 Toyota Supra with a 2000-2005 Toyota Celica engine cuz its cheaper on gas- is it possible? cuz the Supra should have a wider base to fit in the Celica engine, and why shouldn’t I just buy a Celica? it looks like a shoe…
btw, if I do come across as bein’ offensive, I apologize for that- (I just don’t like what they did to the new Celica- but thats just me)

A: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_supra#Mark_III_.281986-1992.29

It is possible – but not the best choice. The Supra is heavy, and the Celica engine is a small high revving one – not a good match. Due to this, you would probably would not to see any improvement in fuel economy.

If you are primarily concerned about fuel economy, a VW turbo diesel and Toyota 22R 5 speed manual, with an adapter from ACME:
http://www.acmeadapters.com/about.php
The 1.9 liter VW TDi is capable of 300 ft-lbs of torque – more than the Turbo Supra.

A cheaper modification that will greatly improve highway fuel economy is taller gears.

If you have a manual, for city driving, try up shifting at lower rpm, which helps tremendously, like 1200 – 1500 rpm, and use full throttle.

Q: how do you put on a body kit for a 1988 toyota supra.?
I dont even know how to start so the more detial the better. Can you let me know how many people would I need en tools.

A: take it to a body shop. with a car that nice, you dont wanna do anything like that that would cause it to look bad.

Q: what do i need to do to sale a 1988 toyota supra?
i want to sale it so i can buy another car

A: A bill of sale prepared for the buyer and a clear title.

Q: Does anyone know how to instal a speedometer cable in a 1987 toyota supra?
My boyfriend recently purchased a 1987 supra and before he can get a safety on it he has to instal a new speedometer cable but we have no idea how he even got a book on his car and it doesn’t say. So if anyone knows please help me, and please in as much DETAIL as possible i dont want him screwing up his car.

A: The cable runs from the back of the odometer to a connection on the transmission. Both ends of the cable have a threaded nut that attach to these receptors. Right ?? Just unscrew the old cable from the odometer, and tape the new cable to it so you can pull it through to the transmission. Should take about 20-30 minutes.

Q: how do you remove the rear bumber from 1987 supra?
i have a 1987 toyota supra im trying to remove the rear bumber to replace it with another one and was wondering if ne one knew how or could give me a link to a site that does thanks!

A: DUDE BUY A NEW CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1987 DANG

Q: what a decent price for a 1987 supra turbo?
This ‘87 Supra turbo is in mint condition and only has 33,000 miles not sure if it a manual or automatic. and also it hasn’t been started in about four years. what a good price?

A: i’ll say 5-10k saw a nice one for 10k. Like new.

.
. .

Q: Does anyone know where to get aftermarket parts for a 1987 Supra?
I just got this car today and it’s awesome but I want to update it’s body and interior. So if anyone could recommend an online store that sells quality parts please let me know! Also, it’d be awesome if you suggest a place you actually ordered from cause there’s a lot of illegitimate places online.

A: Sure.

Sign on to Supramania, and Supraforums. Neither are sellers of car parts, but there is lots of resources available on those forums.

Or, send me an email for what you’re looking for, and I can give you some suggestions. I own a 1986, 1988, and 1989 Supra, all which I’ve done quite a bit of work to.

Q: what cold air intake will fit a 1987 Toyota Supra? I’d like to know about the piping.?
I need to know what Cold Air Intake will fit on a 1987 Toyota Supra. I hear it’s from a Honda, but I don’t know what model. I’ve tried to find the cold air intake for the supra, and I only get the filter and not the whole kit, I need the complete kit. Does anybody have an answer for me? Thanks in advance…..Diggy

A: you cant put the filter on right off the intake manifold!!!!

if you do the car wont run, there is a VAF (vane air flow sensor) in the intake pipe close to the air filter. when you start the car air flows past it opening the “vane” in the VAF thereby supplying the fuel pump with power along with other things.

as far as getting a cold air intake… i bought a cold air intake for my 03 Tiburon and i decided to make it a short ram intake so i have a piece of aluminum pipe left over from the tib… i bought a 87 supra off craigslist and it didn’t have any intake piping, i bought it as a non running car because the guy didnt know it NEEDS a intake pipe running to the intake from the VAF. i threw my left over piece of pipe on, and 10 min after he droped the car off for me i got the car running.

best bet is unbolt the air filter box from the VAF and put a cone filter on that and it will work out good

Q: 1987 toyota supra check engine light does not work?
i have a 1987 toyota supra and the check engine light is not working, therefore i cannot smog it. What would cause it to not work?
i have a 1987 toyota supra and the check engine light is not working, therefore i cannot smog it. What would cause it to not work? I have alos replaced the computer and the light on the dashboard and still no light

A: The only thing’s are…

A. The computer will not turn on the light which is an internal computer problem.

B. The bulb is burnt out.

C. Somebody removed the bulb.

There is no ‘fuse’ for the check engine light or anything like that. It’s either a bad computer or it needs a bulb.
I would say it needs a bulb as light bulbs are the problem 9 out of 10 times with lighting problems on a car.

Q: How much would a 1987 Toyota supra turbo Rebuild cost?
I have a 87 supra turbo with almost 200k miles, And i want to Upgrade the turbo how much would it cost to rebuild?

Thanks

A: Check on link;

http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/parts-for-sale/10045-rebuilt-and-balanced-ct-26-turbo-for-sale.html

Q: how easy is it too get too all of the screws and bolts on a 1987 supra too replace the head gasket???
I need too kno how easy it is too get too the screws too change a headgasket on a 1987 supra……..4cyl the headgasket has 6slot(holes) pls if u kno help!!!!!!!!!

A: There is a lot more to replacing a head gasket than removing bolts. The timing belt has to be removed from the camshaft, valve cover needs to be removed, distributor removed, and usually you have to remove at least one of the manifolds (intake or exhaust). Once the head is ready to come off you remove the head bolts (which will be tight) and the head, clean both surfaces VERY well, install the bolts (best to use new bolts), and torque them with a torque wrench. Then all of the other components can be put back on and the timing has to be installed correctly.

Q: Where can I find the specs for a 1987 Toyota Supra MKIII?
Mainly looking for the engine specs and the safety features.

A: Your 87 is similar to the 88 and early 89. The site I liked you shows much of the info you requested. You didn’t state if it was turbo or not, so I assumed it was.

Q: How do i replace the fuel filter on a 1987 toyota supra turbo? where is it?
I bought this car and it has been sitting in a driveway without being started for about 5 years or so. im aware of the work i need to put into it but i am not sure where to find the fuel filter or how to replace it. Ohh and if you know the price, please tell me. Thankss

A: when ever you find it. It should just have two bolts that you unscrew. One on top one on bottom. Take out the Fuel filter and place the new one in and re screw the bolts. Autozone has a lot of diagrams and pictures of different cars. If it has your car then sign up and look up their repair manuel for free.

Q: is there any kind of clutch sensor on a 1987 supra that would cause it to start chugging when accelerating?

A: Actually, if the car is “chugging” on acceleration, it could be something unrelated to your clutch. I would recommend checking your plugs and wires on the engine. I know with my car, which is a manual, right before the cylinder stops firing, it’ll be “weak” on acceleration, leaving it to chug either under acceleration or when I’m rolling in a higher gear at a slower speed.

Q: 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo. Can a faulty head casket cause the car to overheat?
When the car gets hot, it pushes the water to the over flow tank.

A: I just love when some people think they’re cute by trying to lead people into injury or harm.
Yes a blown head gasket can cause an overheating situation. One of the things it does is keep the coolant in the water jacket. It also keeps combustion gases in the cylinders. Worst cases? Combustion gases leak into water jacket forcing coolant to expel out of the cap or overflow jug. The coolant can also leak into the crankcase and ruin bearings and jam lifters. So don’t listen to Lil’John. He trolls around giving wisecracks trying to sound smug.

Q: I just bought a 1987 toyota supra and what is the oil pressure supposed to be?

A: min of 20

Q: 1987 Toyota supra replaced replaced all switches have tail lights still no stop light?

A: find the brake lite switch easy check unhook the2 wires from switch touch the wires together an see if brake lites are working if not check fuse box for a bad fuse if the do work replace the switch if fuse is good also check the bulbs its posable to have a bad bulb.

Q: What would be a some convincing reasons for buying a 1985 toyota celcia supra?
I’m 17 and trying to convince my parents to get a used 1985 supra. But so far the only halfway decent reason I have for convincing them to get it is that it has 2 seats so I won’t be able to go over the maximum amount of people I’m legally allowed to have in my car.

Anything else useful? Like crash test rating or gas mileage?
I’ll take anything. Tell me something halfway unique to this car and I’ll try and find a way to put a positive spin on it.

A: This would be a good car choice. I have had 4 1985 Supras. I am currently driving a 1984 5 speed with 220K on it.
Here are the good points about the car.
1 My insurance company rates it as a sub compact so insurance is cheap.
2. The car get around 19 mpg city and about 27 mpg hwy.
3. The car will go at least 300K with just normal maintenance, my daily driver has 220K on it and I still drive it out of town.
4 It is soon to be a classic, and prices for good used 1983 – 1985 Supras are going up
5 Maintenance is low, just do an oil change every 4K and a timing belt every 100k. Tune ups about 75K with platinum plugs, clutch every 175K.
6 There is a website dedicated to the car and you can network with other owners www.celicasupra.com

Hope this helps. If you like classic cars this one will be a hit in about 2 years. I get complimenets on mine everywhere I go.

ALSO
Every year in Las Vegas we have a SUPRA convention where owners form all over the nation gather to show off, drag race and get trophies on thier cars. There are other regional events also that includes dyno runs, road racing ( Texas) group hwy cruise etc.

Q: Whats the best/easiest way to increase horsepower on my 1985 Supra?
What about nitrous oxide kits? What is the best way to install one?

A: I’ve never installed nitrous, but it can’t be brain surgery, it’s just a bottle of compressed gas that gets released into the intake system. How hard can it be?

Q: Where can i find parts for a 1985 toyota supra?
I have a 85 supra and i need interior parts. Seats, Headliners, dash pad and some other stuff.

A: In the junkyard because that’s where those POS’s are

Q: where can i find a cold air intake for a 1985 Toyota Supra?
been lookin for one for a while and still havent found at least one on the web.

A: It HAS one.

Go look at the engine again. If you don’t understand how it’s a cold air intake, you need to research what a cold air intake is.

It’s not shiny, but it’s a cold air intake.

Q: I have a 1985 Toyota supra and it has an oil leak inbetween the engine and transmission, can I fix it myself?
I want to repair myself, how would I do it?

A: you could but its probably going to be really hard. i have the same problem on my car , and i would have to drop the engine out to fix it.

Q: Where would I find a toyoda 1985 supra model car?
this is for my friend’s Xmas present? thx

A: I have a 85 supra and i’m still looking for another one. There very hard to find unless u want to spend the money. I’ve seen a bunch of them on ebay and i’ve found a couple where i live. but they all want really good money for them

Q: Vibration in a 1985 Toyota Celica Supra?
All of the sudden, my 1985 Toyota Celica Supra, just started to constantly vibrate. Anybody have answers??? Thanks!

A: i bet there is a bubble on one of your tires..
or a loose nut behind the wheel

Q: is 1985-89 supra beat a 97 honda?
i might buy a 1985 supra to start of ..my friend has a 97 honda do yo people think it can beat it

A: Hmmm?? I think we can rule out the S2000, since it wasn’t made in ‘97…so you friend must have a Civic, Accord or another model.

Assuming his car has no aftermarket mods like a turbo or supercharger, I think he’ll spank your azz because an ‘85 Celica/Supra isn’t that fast at all.

Plus, the Honda undoubtably has better gearing ratios, automatic or manual transmission (doesn’t make a difference really).

So, unless you are modding the Celica/Supra…I wouldn’t challenge him to any sort of race (by the way, Toyota was confused back then and called the car the “Celica Supra”…seriously!)

Q: need to fin a 1985 supra?
i want to purchase a 1985 supra where can i find them wats agood website

A: kellybluebook .com ,then go to classifieds

Q: need to know how to check transmission fluid in a 1985 celica supra. manual trans?
im lookin for a fill hole or plug something to put it in if i need to fill it

A: on the right side of the trans there is a 17mm size bolt with a washer/gasket remove said bolt add gear lube until it flows out reinstall and enjoy

Q: Where can i find a 1985 Toyota Supra for sale?
4 a collectdor items and color blue

A: cars.com
autotrader.com
google 1985 supra for sale

Q: where is the starter in a 1985 toyota supra?

A: It is bolted to the bell housing of the transmission on the drivers side.

Q: I need help finding a trunk lid for a 1982-1985 toyota supra.?
if anyone knows a website or place that sells a trunk lid for this car please let me know. PLEASE only answer if you have seen it on that site and you KNOW its for sale ThANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A: http://www.everdrive.com/skus/PB/1483761.htm

Q: i can’t seem to find a company that sells a body kit for my dads 1985 supra mkii. thanks in advance?

A: Older car become less and less and hard to find when comes with aftermarket body kit. Try celicasupra.com and ask around
